Join us for a Yoga Workshop dedicated to the DoTERRA Essential Oils Emotional Aromatherapy collection - Motivate, Cheer, Passion, Forgive, Console & Peace. Valerie Howard is back! She will educate us on the basics of oils and then talk us thru how we can use the oils for emotional well-being. Class will continue with Chaunette leading a guided meditation and yoga class. A deeper dive into emotional well-being, how to best handle triggers, and releasing blocks, will be the focus of this self-care workshop. DoTerra Essential Oils will be used thru out the practice. All are welcome!

Soothing Summer Fresh Food Facial Gathering w/Dusty

Skincare can be simple, and tons of great solutions are already in your kitchen. Fresh Food Facial Gatherings bring people together for a facial skin cleansing experience. Get to know your neighbor as they pass you a delicate china bowl filled with pureed fruit, along with all the other ingredients you'll need to make your own facial products from scratch. Mix the ingredients in a sea shell with a soft bristle mask brush, then apply to your own face. We will remove the products with hot steamed towels infused with essential oils. Continue with a facial massage using nourishing oils, a moisturizing mask, and meditation with sound healing from a crystal bowl. Apply a hand crafted toner and lotion, and end with three……….deep……… breathes.
The experience takes about 2 hours. You get to giggle while you put food on your face, learn about the ingredients, and time to relax.

Candlelight Yin and Wine

The first Friday of every month, Yin with a complimentary glass of wine! This class will be a nice slow way to end your week and kick of the month feeling rejuvenated! Occasionally taking mindful sips of red or white wine is optional.

Yin is a yoga practice that consists of a series of poses held for an extended period of time, usually 2-5 minutes. This class is open to all levels of students and is a complimentary practice to any regular yoga practice. Yin focuses on the stillness of the mind and body. This is a very slow paced yoga practice that allows the student to slowly relax the muscles to allow for a deeper stretch. Yoga props are highly encourage to allow for a safe and supported stretch and will be provided as needed. This class is usually between 78° - 82°

This 2 hour workshop will be taught by Kati Bailey and Tricia Crowley. The body and mind need time to recover, reflect, and regenerate. This workshop uses the science of self-myofascial release; a form of self massage that improve range of motion, eliminates pain, and prepares all systems of the body for the optimum performance. Along with a series of restorative stretches and stress reducing breath technique, the movement patterns help regenerate the body and mind from the inside out.

Arm Balance Workshop

This workshop will start out with a complimentary 45 minute yoga class that will prepare you to get into some fun arm balances. Your instructor will then guide you through getting into the poses, proper alignments, and finding engagement in these arm balancing poses. The remainder of the time will be used to play with the various arm balances and their variations before you are guided through a cool down to leave you feeling refreshed.

*This is a four part series wrapped into a single day. The scheduled Power Vinyasa classes for the weeks leading up to this workshop will be focused on scapular stabilization, abdominal control, and pelvic stabilization, all key components to establishing a strong arm balance practice. Although these classes are not required, they may increase strength and mobility to benefit your arm balance practice, as well as all other classes that promote strength or mobility. This workshop is open to students of all levels.

Workshop will be led by Tahnee Deschênes.

Traditionally Yoga Mala’s are practiced for the change of a season, either literally or figuratively, to represent a fresh start. INTRO TO OILS

  • Learn the basics of essential oil uses and applications with this introduction to essential oils workshop.

  • The workshop will include instruction, along with open discussion about essential oil uses in our daily life.

YIN YOGA & CHILL

  • This workshop will be accompanied by a 60 minute complementary Yin yoga for relaxation class.

  • Essential oils will be used at the beginning and at the end of class to explore the uses and applications in our daily yoga practice.

INTRO TO MEDITATION

  • The Yin yoga class will conclude with essential oil application for the ultimate relaxation as you enter savasana.

  • At the end of savasana, you will be guided through an Introduction to Meditation.
